It’s getting a little more difficult to stick to the diet. I was feeling a bit peckish this afternoon and started to reach for the box of Lindors that are in my room. I remembered just in time that I’m not allowed to eat any!
I had the oriental chilli flavour soup for dinner last night – it was really good. I just wished there’d been more of it!
I had a mango shake for breakfast today – it was quite disgusting. And I had the oriental chilli flavour soup for lunch again today.
I was pretty busy with the children all day – so I didn’t have as much water as I should have had. In fact, I had a lot less than I was meant to. Oops.
I started feeling quite hungry in the afternoon, so I took a nap. It was wonderful!
And for dinner I had the chicken and mushroom soup. It was also quite good. It was hard though… LagosDad was having tandoori chicken and it smelt so amazing!
I have to say – I’m quite impressed with the soups. They’re quite tasty!
As tasty as they are, and as hungry as I’ve been – I don’t think I’ve lost any weight yet. I’ve decided I’m not going to weigh myself or take any measurements until I go into the centre on Monday.
I’d better have lost at least 3 kilos though!
I started the Cambridge Weight Plan diet yesterday!
And you know what? So far I’m doing ok.
I had a chocolate shake for breakfast – it wasn’t too bad. I think it would have tasted better if I hadn’t brushed my teeth right before making/drinking it.
A consultant from CWP rang me to check I was ok – she asked if I’d started the diet that day, she wanted to know how it was going and asked if I was drinking lots of water. She also reminded me not to cheat!
I had leek and potato soup for lunch. Bit watery – but edible. And I had mushroom soup for dinner. Not bad tasting at all.
I was feeling slightly headachey in the evening. I think it was due to a combination of things though… Like being stuck in traffic for an hour with two screaming children. And Vin has this new ‘thing’ where he just completely ignores any instruction or anything I ask of him (more about this later).
All the shakes and soups have to be made with 227 ml of water. Plus I have to drink at least 2.5 litres of water a day. I spent most of yesterday peeing.
Now it’s day 2. I had a vanilla shake for breakfast. It was pretty good.
A consultant rang again this morning to check up on me. It’s quite nice actually – very supportive.
I’ve just had a shake for lunch as well. I’m having lunch a little later than usual today (I’d tell you why, but it’s about not having power and the water not being cold enough to make a shake with and it’s such a boring reason), but I was getting so hungry I was about to eat one of the kids. Or the dog. The shake I had was ‘fruits of the forest’. It was pretty good!
I’m still trying to work my way through my bottles of water for the day.
I will keep reminding myself…
