Grew up in Lagos.

Went to boarding school in the UK at 11.

Went to university in London.

Worked in London.

Moved back to Lagos in 2004.

Indian by origin.  

Don’t speak Hindi.

Not particularly religious.

Embrace the customs and traditions I understand.

Went to India this year for the first time in five years.

I know I don’t ‘belong’ there.

I’m not ‘from’ there.
